We are safely at our ministry location in Iquitos. The flights all went well, just long layovers in Miami and Lima. But the team used this time to continue to work on the plans they developed during launch training and also tried to get some rest. The team has been very supportive and encouraging of one another and focused on their ministry. The team was excited to meet our missionary Julio and enjoyed reviewing the gospel bracelet with his instruction. We had a fun ride on motocarro, a three wheel motorcycle with seat for two or three to ride behind the driver. The streets of Iquitos were crowded with these motocarro vehicles, motorcycles, buses and vans. We are staying at Pastor Joel and his wife, Mary Lo's, restaurant and house. The girls are rooming with two YMI intern girls and the boys have a separate room and we all have beds! Julio's wife, Rosario, Mary Lo and others are taking care of us well. Thank you for your prayers. Tomorrow we have ministry workshops with the church and door to door evangelism. The next few days will consist of children's ministry.
Thank you to our awesome host family in Dallas, Stewart, Bethany and kids.
