Oh man! We have been so busy the past 2-3 days. One of the days we went to a local church and did street evangelism. The most exciting thing was Kinza leading a local villager to the Lord. This lady was in her late forties and had always heard about Jesus, but had never trusted him. Needless to say, it was an exciting, powerful moment.
The next day, a "Super rally" was held in one of the local villages that had a huge dirt field. We began walking the streets with children, and by the end of this "parade" we had close to 600 kids. We were completely surrounded by children wanting to hold our hands, talk with us or smile at us. The "march" was about a mile long, and when we finished we ended in the dirt field that doubled as four Awana game circles. From there, we played games, heard the Gospel message from "Captain" and then had our own "small groups" of 50-60 kids each. Our kids told their testimony, shared the gospel bracelet, and gave the short lesson that they had prepared. The children all listened intently and asked many questions, but what was truly amazing were the smiles just to hear about Jesus. Our team of ladies was amazing and really did well today, despite the truly overwhelming number of kids. Honestly, we are still processing what just happened at the rally.
Thanks for praying. It has been amazing!
