The trip is going well and the students are learning what teaching looks like first hand. They've made invaluable friendships with the Korean leaders and children, grown together as a team and stepped out of their comfort zones. We are headed to a larger camp for our second week where there will be around 250 kids and 60 Korean teachers. We ask for prayer for patience, peace and a love for these children that only comes from God. We also ask for energy as doing as much as we are called to during this period will be mentally and physically taxing for us all. We need sharp minds and focus so we can engage missionally and prayerfully with those around us. We can't wait to see what God does in the midst of unknowns!
Stories from the mission field. Check here to see what God is doing in and through young people as they lead in ministry.

We made it!
Thanks so much for your prayers. Three planes, three layovers, and four airports later, everyone and everything made it to Iquitos. We had a very healthy and heartening lunch and now have some time to recharge this afternoon before we visit one of the churches where we will be working this evening. It's very warm and beautiful here! Please pray that our team adjusts quickly to the time and temperature, and that we stay healthy and ready for ministry!
Austen for Team Peru!
The team has arrived safely in Lima and are on their way to Iquitos! We pray for continued safe travels for the team, for the missionary who will receive them, and that God would continue to prepare the hearts and minds of those He will touch through this ministry.
This trip has gone by very quick! The team is doing amazingly well. They have led teaching times, where they have had to search the Word and plan a lesson for each day along with questions for small groups.
We've played games during sports time such as dodge ball, baseball, kickball, volley ball, and football. Being so close to the ocean, we've been able to go to the beach every day.
We have 4 kids here at the camp who are unbelievers: Daniella, Diana, Miguel and Vasco...please pray with us as we plant seeds here. Maybe one will turn their heart to Christ this week but let's not limit God. Two others who need prayers are Igor, who speaks no English, and Consolo, who have both been in a church but have walked away from it. Pray for John who has lost his father this last year from cancer and has suffers some depression and has turned away from people. Praise God he made the choice to come and now wants to stay the week even though he only planned on coming for one day.
God is working here!!!!
